Lambert's art training began at Butera School of Art in Boston, where she earned a certificate in signpainting in 1984. She worked in the sign industry for ten years painting signs, trucks, and billboards of all kinds. That training directly influences much of the work she does today; she especially loves to work large, hearkening back to those billboard years. A multidisciplinary artist, she is particularly interested in using recyclable materials, finding value in things others might throw away. Recent exhibitions include the 2017 Biennial Juried Exhibition at Riffe Gallery, Nov. 2, 2017-Jan. 6, 2017, and the Ohio Art League Thumb Box show at Franklin Park Conservatory, Nov. 18, 2017 - Jan. 3, 2017.
